Well sweaty lads and lasses, what deodorant do you use? I just bought 12 of these bad boys to last me 2 years because they're hard as fuck to find. They're the only deodorant that lasts through my sweat, plus solids > gels. The GF digs the scent as well.

Something natural and with no fragrance.
No fragrance > stank fragrance
-
I try not to cauterize my sweat glands with antiperspirants since someone told me of a study that showed women who used deodorant with antiperspirants had higher cases of breast cancer by their armpits. I think I just use regular Speed Stick, preferably Ocean Surf scent.
-
Ed, I wonder if the rates of breastcancer in both sexes are equal. I've heard the more general "the aluminum in antiperspirants can cause cancer"
and I have a feeling a lot of people are going to confuse deodorant with antiperspirant
-
Got to go all natural.. Its Arm and hammer essentials for me.
-
Can confirm that the aluminum in antiperspirants cause tumors in women. My old lady was using it and started to develop tumors in her boobs, fast forward a few months and she had stage 3 breast cancer and had to have a double mastectomy. Now she uses natural shit that’s in a roller. Personally I like old spice and speed stick.
-
I heard that about the cans too I got this roll on a dove one any one will do for me
But I did have this crystal thing a while ago that was alright you wet the end and used it like a roll on I think I got it at a market

Hello Kitty body spray (either grape or bubblegum).
-
The white bar old spice that is both deodorant and anti perspirant.

I'm sensitive to fragrances and a lot of deodorants don't work for me or they just smell awful. The "all natural" deodorants are useless I've tried so many kinds. I also tried the baking soda trick and that gave me a rash. About a year ago I tried this stuff called "dry idea" which is a fragrance-free antiperspirant you can find at any major chain store and it works like a charm, highly recommend. I get the kind that comes out in a sort of wet gel and after applying it, it dries almost instantly.
-
A cheap Rexona for men. Does not make stick, unlike expensive Boss
-
Degree. For some reason, most of the shit like Right guard and so forth.. over the years I tend to get some kind of fucking rash from those. Found this Degree shit and no more burning armpit sensation.

Old Spice “After Hours” regular deodorant, no antiperspirant.
“After Hours is a citrus and leafy green scent that's too sexy for ordinary business hours”
“We’re confident you’re confident enough to harness all forms of After Hours confidence. Now crank that mansmell up to 11 and punch today in the face.”
Oh yea

Yes, that's what I'm getting at. Also, the OP mentioned a brand of deodorant that has antiperspirants.

Jesus. I'm sorry to hear that happened to her. Yeah, men may not be prone to breast cancer, but I imagine the aluminum can still affect us in a negative manner. Might as well avoid it. I haven't used antiperspirants since hearing of that study.
Also, they say talcum powder is know to often have cancer-causing asbestos in it, so if any of you sweaty skater dudes out there are still powdering your downstairs with talcum powder, best to get off that.

Fucking right it is.

Nothing. Shit smells awful. Clean pits with ACV or Baking Soda and you'll be fine. The less sugar you consume, the better you smell. Same can be said for meat.
-
I have some Toms of Maine that smells pretty good
-
I watch my diet and shower. Don't have any issues unless I drink a lot of alcohol. Never really liked deodorants.
-
Old spice aqua reef. Since I was a like 15. It's just a deodorant. Dont care if I sweat but can't be sweaty and smelly.
-
I tried to do the natural stuff, tried every brand I could find, my job is somewhat physical and none of them prevented BO until my 10am break. So now my go to is Speed Stick Glacier, smells fresh. Only use the solid clear stick deodorant style though. Fuck antiperspirant and that weird gel stuff and everything else.
-
natural, i am really sensitive to perfume smells and i don't fuck with them at all and i don't fuck with people who wear perfume.
-
Turning into one of those people and making my own.
Grab a cheap alcohol (the kind your pops drank before he ran out on your sorry ass), some essential oils and add about 20-30 drops per 2oz of booze.
It works better than most of the natural ones, but it's not going to stop severe swamp.
-
Old Spice "Fuji" deodorant.
I recently bought some liquid chlorophyll "internal deodorant" too.

I'm on my second stick of this stuff and I love it. After using Old Spice and other men's deodorants for most of my life, I realized that I prefer something floral scented and picked this stuff up. It's light, doesn't make me smell worse (which some deodorants have done), and doesn't leave any marks on my clothes.

This Tom's North Woods shit is really the only natural kind that words for me, but they just re-did the recipe and the new version kind of sucks, so I bought like 15 of the old kind online to last the next couple years:

I just moisten a piece of potassium alum crystal and then rub it on my pits. Works well for me.

This is a great deodorant. I used it after going more natural. I used it effectively for almost a year but I live in a desert area with excessive heat and work an office job. It wasn't doing it for me after a while. It gets 120+ here and with long sleeves and ties, just wasn't holding up as before. I switched to a few other ones until landing on Herban Cowboy spray. Been over two years and still doing the job great.
-
Old Spice, the “Classic” old man version.

+1 for the Crystal Salts, absolute game changer & will never go back to regular deodorant.

Always have had issues having anything work for longer than a few months. Was using the herban cowboy stuff for a while but I switched to Aesop roll on deodorant and it rules. It's super expensive but it is the only thing that works for me, plus it actually smells good.

I live in the North woods, I wonder if that's my natural scent?
