I remember waiting forever to see this part online and only getting random little rumors and comments about it on Slap. The mystique was so high and he’s lived up to it.

Someone posted it last year and I watched it, it was so sick. He seems like such a chill and down to earth dude who kinda just wants to skate but also ended up being really good.

I'm afraid JJ reached this point where he's been around forever, offering limited quantity of incredible footage, but keeping me (everyone?)  waiting for a new "mind field level" part, which will probably never happen......

same feeling with busenitz for example

The fact that the next post is the JJ retrospective of his 30 minutes of footy is a great counter-point to the “limited” comment.

saw him outside an event a few weeks back and he was standing by the quasi van.  didnt realize it was him at first but later it clicked and I explained to my partner who was with me "no u dont understand, that dude influenced the last 10+ years of skateboarding"
