I figure if it worked for me in the 90s, why wouldn't it work for me now

Girl Rick Howard reissue 7.75
venture lows
spitfire classics 5
bones reds
Gilbert Highs

haven't really put any time on it yet.  the wheelbase feels a little tight, but the width feels fine, and its flat as hell.  not looking forward to trying to source more 7.75s if it ends up working out

spitfire classics 5 have always been some of my favorite wheels

775 blind black magic grip.
Venture 5.0 lo
Spitfire f4s 50mm with swiss 6

It's really good but has more concave that the budget one, lower kicks than most dwindle decks.

Some of the boards on the last 2 pages are smaller than on the first 2 pages. That means Slap gear preferences have gone full circle.

I was talking to a friend the other day and he pointed out that if you watch Welsh's old footage it just wouldn't look right with a modern sized board and I'd agree.

Original Curb Killer signed by Ira and the Fosman that used to be a wallhanger. Haven't skated a round tail for quite some time, but it's a nice change of pace. It feels very nimble compared to the Heroin Mutant I was skating before this, although the tail is a bit on the small side. The new symmetrical ones seem to have specs more to my liking, so I ordered one of those if I ever feel the need for a round tail again.

It's not that serious -
Go fast, catch a frontside
And remember why you love it
