was just thinking about him yesterday.
it's crazy how we miss people we never met that are no longer with us,
can't imagine the pain his family and closed ones might still go through with his loss.
same with other skateboarders, musicians, cultural figures..
rest easy Dylan

I just want everyone to know that I'm only 32.8% skateboarder, and that's on a good day. The rest is just soy and cum.

I hadn’t watched this part since he passed away, but often remember the tricks when I come past the spots. A lot of them are close to where I live, my kid likes to play with rocks where he did the Switch Kickflip. Standing there and musing about how perfectly he did the trick always reminds me of how extraordinary of a skateboarder he was.

It's crazy how one person can be so influential to an entire subculture. Remember when his Gravis part dropped? He was already a polarizing but well respected skater, but that part made an entire generation of us cuff our pants, raise our elbows, and do shitty impossibles. Rest in power, dylan.

Never liked that Huf part—too contrived—but damn his skating is impeccable. Switch backside flip is so mammoth. Cherry and gravis are my favorite stuff of his.

The best forever and always.

Dylan right up there with AVE, Heath, and Reynolds.

I still can't believe HUF is gone now as well. We've lost so many in the past 4 going on 5 years.

Allen.

Everyday this guy is missed. Never met him but I stiil skate because of him. Still have a nice amount of his Huf stuff and really bought into his style/look. For the last four/five years Ive always owned a couple pairs of driving loafers and just love that he made skating something else; something different. Never met him, never will. But I can be sad he will never skate again and be thankful for what he gave us while he did.
