Man I already know this is gonna be some next level shit. I think it'll be one of my favorite Jay-Z albums. We already know the production is gonna be crazy & with Hov gettin a taste of fatherhood amongst other recent events in his life, the content should be pretty interesting and well thought-out.

Personally I think its pretty damn good so far.

I think in this internet age people aren't as used to really "digesting" the music whenever a new album comes out. like if it isn't immediately the hottest shit ever we just go on to the next free download. It hasnt even been out for 24 hours yet so really there's no way anyone can make a knowledgable review of the album as a whole. Personally, I think its all good so far after listening to it front to back twice with multiple listens of certain songs. Lots of notable, quotable lines sprinkled throughout each song & the production is all on point.  So far my favorites are Crown, Verses, La Familia, Tom Ford, & FUTW,  but really all the songs are good. some are better than others, but overall its pretty solid. I had this shit on Pre-order and so far its looking like its money well spent.

^Can't deny there are some bangers on there. The Gonja Sufi 'feature' was surprising.
Don't know why your money is 'well spent' though if you got the album already and jigger is rich enough. I'd never buy a Jay-Z album only to own the product but that's just me.
Thanks for the links.

I like to support artists that make good music regardless of how successful they already are. I like how he switched up the marketing schemes with this shit too. The album already went Platnium due to samsung buying the first million copies (RIAA said it'll count towards the plaque but not first week sales) but I wanna be a part of the first week numbers as well as encourage more creative marketing throughout the industry.

album is underwhelming but not bad by any means. i'm feeling a few tracks so far though, haven't finished it completely. haven't heard any standouts though, seems like it's all just decent-to-cool songs.

Its even more sad that he tried to boost his album sales by coming at a bunch of people sideways from a fucking island. Shyne should have just bowed out while he wasnt a joke.

who the heck forced this kid to wear a shirt like this? besides the triangle (don't get me started), nazis use '88' for the the letters 'hh' (8th letter in the alphabet) which stands for the nazi salute. moreover, this sounds like shit.

im sure no one makes him wear anything...looks like a older pic of him back when he was on his evil shit, he dresses kinda differently now. he was prob only like 15-16 in that pic and didnt know what that shirt stood for.

you are a fool denzel has master his craft, its a shame hardly nobody in this bitch fucks with any real rap. all yall know about is mainstream fools who dont sound tight like they use to or some new soft shit like joey badass.... but then again this a skateboard full of white kids ::)
