man im starting to get sick with all this wannabe ultra-minimalistic album art trend. that shit was cool for 2 chains first album & watch the thrown but just about every other cover thats been out since has bland as hell. boring and uninspired. niggas be tryna make up for with some "it has a deeper meaning to it" but nah i see right through that shit. Prime example being the deluxe cover from Kendricks album. Really yo? you gon put a fucking busted ass mini-van as the centerpiece for your debut album? i dont give a fuck if its his mommas van that gets talked about throughout, the album, its a fucking MINI VAN. shit is not aesthetically pleasing in any way. i dunno maybe im just bitter because im sitting here trying to find the perfect artist to do my own shit in a creative way while all these Def Jam niggas with million dollar budgets putting out shit that i can literally make myself in photoshop.

anyways, ima DL this, pretend im a dope dealer for 12 tracks and be on my way

Back in the late 80s, this shit was so raw. Lakim Shabazz came out of the Mark 45 King camp from Jersey. It was just a different era in Hip Hop. Knowledge of self was the prevailing message.

I don't get Pusha T's fame. Honestly I have never dug his music a tall unless it was a feature.

Can't wait to download the Dom Kennedy. The song that he did on Nippsy Hussle's mixtape is so dope.

Thats how i felt about Jesus piece's deluxe vs regular album cover. or how deluxe versions will be a cardboard sleeve and the regular will be a jewel case. How does that make sense?

i don't really care one way or the other, but i think pusha's barcode artwork is hilarious. like it's trying to "remind" illegal downloaders to pay for it. it's a pretty great release too, i think i'll oblige.
