Really digging this board so far. I like the lack of nose.
169s fit it perfect. They were a little small on that last board.
This thing is a slappy machine.

whats the wb on that thing? Love the size and shape. Cant find much of a slave selection online. And what was that old board?

wow nice. The pocket pistols taper more in the rear? That’s 9.88” wide just wondering why the 169s didn’t fit. Looking for the same type of setup.

Just ordered one also. Hard not to for $27.50 (+$6 shipping). I'll likely use 151s or 55s on it. If I don't like it, it can be my new cruiser...

Same shape, different graphic. You're gonna want Thunders because this board has a whole inch of flat on it.

At the time I really didn't need risers, but eventually I added Bones 1/8" risers and they work great.

side by side top shot.
the 169s fit fine in the back on the old PP board. Just felt a little small in the front. I like my wheels really on the edge.
that pocket pistols was a piece of prime wood also. really flat concave. $lave is bareback. So it's very solid feeling with more concave.

would it make more sense to make a running post of brands that make big boy boards or a whole new thread? more and more companies are adding 9+ sizes to their lineup and i know im not the only one who would want to stay up to date since thats all i ride

its probably pretty similar, im gonna order one and see how it compares to some of the 9" eagles I've skated in the past. ive got a few that were skated that I can take a comparison pic of. hope its pretty similar.

42s just seem too gimmicky to me.
Never skated any but I just can’t imagine them having any advantages over say 50s

Love the board, long tail(almost 7”) and on the mellow side which I prefer.
As for the venture 6.1, I have a few setups, on with thunder 151 and one with Indy 159. They all have their advantages but the grind clearance and stability of venture has me coming back.

This setup has me too hyped, want something similar/same.
9” board, 8.75” trucks? Commonplace in the last to have some .25” overhang, how do you like it?
I’ve been wanting to get a wide setup, with larger wheels, going back n forth between 151/161 as I’ve been into thunders lately

I had some of those oj dingleberries. They were all right but I ended up putting 49mm classics on that setup instead. I got some 49mm F4s on a 9incn/169s popsicle and that combo is legit. I don’t need extra small wheels but if anyone likes them run them
