Title: Fixed my soles
Post by: Goldberg on July 27, 2018, 03:51:59 AM
Always my soles are wrecking first. This is such a waste, because the shoe would be still great without the holes.

It already survived 4 hours of non-stop skateboarding.

Applied a 1 mm rubber-piece with shoe goo. I don`t feel a difference, because it`s only 1 mm thick. Grip is fine. Costs: 90 cent + a small amount of shoe goo. From the inside of the shoe i taped cardboard beneath the insole. Next time I`ll tape a plastic piece instead of cardboard.

Hopefully this will last a few weeks.

Do you know better ways to fix holes on soles?

How long does it last and how did you applied it on the inside, what is beneath the insole?

So, only inner tube patches are on the outside of the sole? And you applied it like on a innter tube? No additional glue, or shoe goo?

no, I cut them out of an old inner tube (a thick one, made for trucks), rubbed them on grip and superglued them
