I just realized i misinterpreted that guys post. I wasn't paying attention when i read it.
He has not the closest thing to an open mind about skating. He hates on east coast legends and really thinks they arnt good.
I hate on boring socal pros all the time, but i obviously acknowledge that they are good at skating, just not worth watching.
You admit they are good because they are. Those east coast dude do regular shit most of the time, and they all skate exactly the same, yet they are all considered original, unique, and creative. A lot of that stuff doesn't take very much skill man. I see kids all the time that can rip a bowl, but can barely kickflip properly. I'm sure you could say the same about people that can kickflip and can't skate a bowl, but i guarantee if those kids started skating transition and "unique" east coasts spots they would rip that shit. Vice versa cannot happen.
