Found this watching random mini top 5's . Much respect on the honesty.

Man your positivity , skateboard creativity, and all around smile-ability makes you a straight up inspiration. you set a good precedent that more skateboarders should follow.

How do you deal with bad vibes or a stretch of bad luck?

Also whats up with an Organika slap callabo ? Hit Whiteley up.

First of all, thank you for the kind words ;D
Honestly, the way I deal with a stretch of bad luck is pretty funny. I just think about how small we are in this vast Universe and how the problem thats in front of me is mundane in comparison.

An Organika x Slap collaboration needs to happen, thanks for the good idea ;)

Yeah, its a pretty sucky reason. We're releasing the real story on the Kayo site soon. But yeah, I wasn't his decision at all.

Cool man.  I thought Profile and Expedition were owned by the same dudes.  And for whatever reason someone told me the owner was way into drugs and smoked all the money so they went under.

Do you remember Sam Silverstone? Long story short I lived in London and was back in SF for a minute and my friend had me meet up with him to grab some boards from the warehouse.  I think the package was like 5 boards but he told me to take a shitload and scoot.  So I ended up with 20 or so.  James Kelch was there too taking a dump if I remember correctly.

Yours was a white background with black graffic on it,, but I don't remember of what.  I grabbed two, rode one and sold the other one to my friend.

:thumbs up:

Sam Silverstone? I don't remember him by name but I'm sure if I saw him in person I'd remember. Crazy story about those boards though ;) Also, the owner of Profile was pretty off the hook, you're sources were right... But he was still an alright dude.

Thanks man, my name is Drew and that second Dru Down song was the shit back in the day especially if you were in or around the bay area.  Easy enough user name to remember too.

And Karl, was it Experience the other company that the you rode for? Maybe I am mixing up Expedition and Experience?  Been so long man.  Who was your board sponsor in 1995?  I swear it was the same company that backed Profile.  Try googling anything with 'experience and profile' in it and see what comes up lol.

Could be wrong though.

I see where the mixup is. Experience and Profile were owned by the same guy. Roger was his name.   I rode for Profile in 95. Seems like a lifetime ago.

Peace out Drew
