I might be wrong here but at the time and even now I thought the 3 flip noseblunt at 1:22 was impressive then and even now you don’t see people sliding them that long.

As we pour one out for The Cube, how about that double set Alan Peterson ollied in Australia after slamming like 18 times. Sure, people do bigger shit now but it also seems like everyone can fall better too.

It may have been accidental because it looks like he’s trying a backside 270 to noseblunt, but if I’m remembering correctly Christopher Cobra Cole technically does a backside 360 to nosegrind on a handrail in his New Blood part.

He also switch noseblunts the gold rail in DC and treflip noseblunts a handrail.

quaintly

nah , he locked in on the other side of the truck . so it was more like a bs 180 nose grind revert

Since I am today nostalgic on Alan too...

He have done a backside transfer ollie in the Marseile skatepark - this was a thunder commercial in print for over a year.
but since then ca, 1997 I have never seen again the picture.
If someone find and post it - I will be grateful for the rest of the week!

Didn't read the whole thread so I'm not sure if it's been said, but Danny Gonzalez' tricks get too little shine in my opinion.

I love the switch/regular 360 flip footplant on a tree line, not only the famous kickflip melon grab at wallenberg or wallriding the ceiling.

also bastien did a cab flip front board down a handrail over 10 years ago, it was a pull out poster never seen the footage though

that bastien cab flip board pull-out poster that was for his pro shoe? that was in that "lost part" that thrasher put out earlier this year or late last year.  still incredible to this day

The Danny Gonzalez ceiling ride was in that TWS montage, which also had Chris dobstaff doing a cab heel over the SD chain to bank that Penny made famous. That’s pretty nuts.

Never been a fan of this guy, but this trick is the most memorable in my eyes.
I watched the part out of curiosity and wasn't to pleased with what I saw. When he rolled up to the bump I was thinking "aaahhh, here it comes, the body varial" and then he whipped out this amazing maneuver:

This always blew my mind how nonchalant it was. Greg Lutzka fs 360 kf on flat in a line.

It's just so sick because all you see is 360 flips in the middle of a line. This guy just stepped it up and nobody followed because they can't do the trick.

line starts at 6:59

I do agree on that. Did it so amazing too. Every non skateclip in that part is atrocious tho

I guess you're right.  I was thinking of the "sorry era" retrospective video that they put out this year

Around 3:25 the way Dennis uses his shoulders while running to get just enough speed for one of the most beautiful frontside ollies ever done.

Obviously only fools are sleeping on Busenitz, but it’s the little things in this insanely good part that stand out to me.

The line at 2:08 is also beautiful in a way that most cannot replicate. The high speed ollie from one sketchy small bank to the other, right into some crazy flat ground bs 360 that is equal parts style and sketchy, the fucking pushes after that, and the fucking noseblunt that he is going too fast on he misses landing back in the bank.

Lastly, 1:53 the 180 to fakie manny over the metal barrier and down a sloped manual pad? He’s in the red soccer jersey. Are you kidding me?

I’m a Dennis Fanboy since the day I saw him skate a demo. Skater of the Millenia

Chris dobstaff was doing flip/heel flip/
think nollie heel noseslides/Crookeds pretty big stuff a while back and I don't think really getting the credit others did at the time.
Also did a heel flip salad, halfcab blunt and kickflip blunt a biggish rail.

Great choice. Mr. Dobalina also did a heelflip crook on a hubba, looked pretty sick. Has anyone done that on a hubba since?

Richard Angelides Switch Back 360. I thought it was one of the sickest things, then a year or so later I realised it was switch.

like time froze on that ss bs flip in the end. Filled me with pleasure

It's a berries part, but has anyone ever done a bigger bs lipslide than this one Tommy Fynn did at 2:31?

Takes some serious balls to commit to a bs lip on a rail this big.

Not much of a 'trick', but still. Busenitz at 00:19. Also 01:58.
