his part in back & black and his interviews are all pretty legit.
he's real and enjoys the same shit everyone his age does, but skates on such a different level. has a good mix of rails, gaps, manuals and banks.

matt allen would take the cake for that "every kid in california" line.

I remember him being a little grom skating the park. His dad was a full on skate coach, it was pretty lame to say the least. I heard his family moved to Cali so he could pursue a career in skateboarding. Either way I give him some props just for putting up with his old mans bullshit.
