Amazing seeing another flat gap trick. He Should diversify and do a bump to bar or a trick into a bank.

Nah he should do that corny ass line in your sig

I'm almost more impressed by the push than the trick....
btw isn't it super dangerous to jump onto the tracks like he does at the end?? like get fried by the 3rd rail? Or does he skate this "spot" when the metro is not running??

I don’t know how the New York subway works but here in Paris it would be ultra dangerous for sure

By the way it looked « easy » for Tyshawn, I agree with you on the push

the train is never not running. there’s a clip in Tyshawn’s story of him bailing at the last second and jumping over the tracks that’s as hairy as the trick itself.

I think back heel is most likely, anything switch over this would be nuts but I think getting speed switch on this would be the limiting factor. He has a good varial flip too.

Crazy that we’re having this conversation about tricks over a fucking subway track.

I’d like to imagine Mr. Jones waking up, getting dressed, making a coffee, and jogging down to the train station in the morning with his board for a casual session on his favorite obstacle.

hope that's true, but i spoke with a few people at the nolan zangas book release and they went back several times for that

There is a protective cover over it but still its not something you want to be messing around with. especially jumping on top of...

All you have to do is watch the jenkem IG video that was in the posts I quoted. They measured the gap to be about 15 feet with the yellow bumps.

That post is weird, they mention the tricks before and pointed out that one was before the bumps were installed and one used a sign. Acting like Tyshawn didn't bondo the take off of the bump and land fully on the bumps on the kf in play dead. Doesn't take away from skating it I just find it a weird omission when they included the other caveats of the other tricks. They should have just measured it from edge to edge and it would still be a reality check of how gnarly it is.

Ya I’m looking at 15 ft right now and a tre across it is literally unbelievable. Shaving off 2ft seems at least realistic. Still king sized tho. He would shut the skate game down if he kickflips the water tower.

Welcome to the OC bitch! This is how it’s done in Orange County.

Edge to edge it’s about 10.5ft. Still a crazy gap when you lay the tape measure on the floor.

Back heels. Be kinda Ollie oop tho switch. I'd fuckin die seeing it.

I hope flat gaps get more popular. They are 100 my favorite. Been that way since skate tv showed the long Ollie contest.
They had 180s over 14' I think. It's hard to remember

Know what would be sick. If these guys went down the tunnels to some vintage surroundings without blind bumps and such. Maybe like under city hall. Maybe a scrap yard rooftop gap trom car to car.

Go to that one in the woods in Pennsylvania that has abandoned cars for multiple cities that would be a good transition between lines in said cities.
Switch flip off of green line. Land the trick on a Chicago car. Make it look seamless.

I wanna see TJ in SF. He works those hills kills all flat gaps ,picks a good track and keeps partnership with Thrasher. I don't see why he couldn't clench that 3rd crown. Maybe that'd be his 4th.

That how I see this man. He's gonna continue to dominate the pop game. Especially with everyone trying to advance roll on grinds. It's like he Tiago and Westgate but it's really him only. Torrey still got the power I bet. He's still young.

No Too Short tho. It's too soon. Maybe Sacrilege? Do 45 mph switch flips over cobblestone driveways plz.

Maybe go to Bogota. Visit the movie Lopez cobblestone spot.

Sacrilege.

Insanely clean for that “spot” I wonder if he could be the guy to step to the Jeremy Wray water tower with a kickflip.
[close]
This was the first thing I thought of. I'm pretty sure he'd be able to kickflip it, but you don't get any warmups. Does anyone know the measurements on this subway gap? It says the trains are about 9' wide, so I'm guessing this gap is approximately 10'. I think the water tower gap is 16'.

https://www.jenkemmag.com/home/2020/01/19/revisiting-water-tower-ollie-jeremy-wray/

[close]

according to this it's about 15 feet

https://www.instagram.com/reel/CjoTaI3OoxB/?igshid=ZWFiZDJlMTg%3D
[close]

Unrelated, but you're certified fried if you have to find something to hate about this trick.

He hits the bumps though on both the take off and landing so he's not clearing 15 feet. He's clearing the gap proper which is 10 ft. Similar size to many sketchy sidewalk to side walk road gaps.

This shit is over hyped.
