I've noticed lately that anything I post/reply-with is getting kooked. I've seen others (who are often more civil than I) posting similar things (that they are being kooked a lot).
Anyone know what's up?
I've finally quit caring about my rep but it seems like the entire board is getting trolled. Which we probably deserve.
Don't worry, I'll kook myself for this shit thread.

The way I see it, it just matters more to some people so they take the time to give em out. I love it here, regardless if I'm getting kooked or not. Major shout out to the Whatever and Shoes and Gear board heads, you guys rule!

My rep been a Rollercoaster from the start and now that I'm a Pal, it's decreasing faster than ever! I was up in the 80's back in March but then I pissed some folks off I think. Also posting in this thread is gonna get you some kooks, in fact posting about rep at all will get you kooked. Rep doesn't matter at all though, who gives a shit

Also there is certain subjects that you will receive kook bombs if you talk about them.
Fairly sure there is a few pals that can give more than one kook.

I am blissfully ignorant of this stuff but have gained a little insight from people mentioning “gnar’d”, but this thread is the first I’ve heard of people getting “kooks”. Totally don’t get it.
I did surpass 100 posts recently but I don’t see any new options for me to gnar or kook someone and I have no idea what the rules are for that. It does seem like a lot of power though and I probably would not use it wisely.
I have thought of asking for a rundown about it but I am trying not to care about “rep”. Frankly I am grateful to have been accepted here, or at least not made to feel unwelcome but I know some people are leaving me alone. I think this is actually the most mature, level-headed, compassionate group of people I have ever been a part of a forum with and until now I have mostly been on Classical Guitar forums. Those fuckers are nasty!

100% the move. I've got a script I run that hides rep, useless wooden toy banter, and removes some bloat. Immediately made my slap experience 10x better.

There should be a gnarkook button so when you click it, the person's rep goes up one and down one at the same time, essentially doing nothing, and the person would be none the wiser. But you could get a kick out secretly knowing you did it. It would be a good mood enhancer around here for when you're feeling sad or bored.

It's extra clicks, but couldn't you quickly do it with the current system? Gnar, then kook (or vice versa). Would try it out on Sneaky but I already Gnar'd the man today ;)

I've been disliked most of my life so IDC about these things. I can take it.
I can't handle being banned tho.
I believe that slap is the most important Media in skating and that's why I stopped lurking about.

Hahaha, you can not let your rep on here bother you. I was bummed when I first stopped lurking and my rep sucked even though I only posted positive shit. There is not rhyme or reason to it. This past week I've been getting a neg rep a day and I'm quite sure I know from whom and why and it's pretty shitty but that's life. Realistically it has no affect on anything and if I really cared about rep, I wouldn't be on here because the neg rep I get from my wife for being on here daily is way worse than anything I get on here. But this thread is going to get you kooked infinitely. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
