Yes! there's all these remakes happening for shoes that the riders aren't even associated with anymore. Presumably Ed's still on Emerica in emeritus status (although I'd like them to do what the Guy Axions did and [trigger warning] forego the plastic toe. I hated how they'd just get eaten alive in the ollie area with that triple stitching)

Yeah it's going to be an updated version but it will still look a lot like the OG KSL and have that pour-in G6 midsole in there as well.

Hopefully the black/white/green colorway will drop as well. I remember I skated a couple of those.

Let’s hope that Emerica didn’t forget that this colorway was also vegan! I skated so many pairs of these.

that's Erik Ellington's Li-Ning shoe. I don't think Spanky will drop a colorway of those proportions.

Im pretty excited for the Emerica KSL1 updated reissue. I’m very curious to see how those will look. Those and the gammas? Might be rockin Emericas again. Absolutely here for it. I would love to be able to cop nice looking cupsoles in simple colorways from my local again but I don’t like one piece toes so I always stayed away from the Romero’s, Figgy’s, and Spanky’s- although those all look good IMO. In addition to the toe though, they probably wouldn’t look very good with my pants. Stoked for Emerica court style skate shoes.

Those Li-ning look to be surprisingly well thought.
The pannels seems to be super protective where it needs it to be and breathable elsewhere.
Not a big fan of the design but I can see those growing on me.
At least it's not a dunk/campus/halfcab rip-off.

I know nothing about Li-Ninig's so I took a look at their shoes on their website and I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that EE's shoes is on the tech side. A lot of their stuff look like knock offs of trendy shoes form Yeezys and other stuff.

I mean, if they're well designed I'm definitely going to be buying a pair. Spanky's one of my favorite skaters right now, I'm skating a pair of the Spanky G6s and love them, and this remake has such potential. All they really have to do is slim it up just the tiniest amount (this is key, don't turn this into a thin vulc or something!), do the G6 midsole that they have on the current Spanky's, and make nice colorways.

Slap could design a shoe as a whole. We could all miraculously agree on every minimal detail and colorway. But like 5 people would buy it full price.
