the criticism comes from people who find braille to be an enterprise that preys on kids and because it's founded and funded by people who have been members of scientology to sift off vulnerable minds in the audience to become scientology members.

Is there anything wrong with turning your back on pro skating to pursue something else? It’s a career choice at the end of the day. People confuse stopping being a pro with stopping skateboarding altogether.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone get criticized for doing that outside of Jereme Rodgers. And I think that was mostly because the rap thing came out of left field and no one took him seriously. Not because skateboarding has this need to uphold an image as being the greatest job in the world.

i was just telling a friend this the other day. when it comes to guilty pleasures i prefer nyjah to oniell. that cab nose blunt on hubba was crazy and i really like this line

Do any cursory research into the actions of Scientology and their scandals and let’s see if you still think they’re ok as long as they don’t cross the “kill” rubicon.   They don’t need to kill to acquire land, they just blackmail and intimidate the fuck out of anyone that challenges their nonprofit status which allows them a gigantic nest egg which allows them to gobble up Los Angeles real estate and landmarks.   They also keep essentially slaves in their Clearwater location, but maybe you’re cool with 10 years signing billion year pledges of service
