They could've swapped yellow and green, but it stands out more as a Brasilian colorway with the green. There's a bunch of yellow stripes on black colorways out there. Not saying you're wrong though.

^do yourself a favour and do not cut off the tongue....i did it on my pair cause it takes a bit of getting used too but to me the shoe just does look wrong without the tongue. i mean if your pants are baggy enough that you never wuld see the tongue anyway thats your thing but just lookin at the shoe in hand without the tongue just felt weird! i ended up selling mine with the tongue sewed back on and got myself a new one where i kept it!


but i am weird with shoes i guess....

the new rx ones have a neoprene esque tongue that flops over better and its less noticeable by a long shot. try skating before you chop.

I have a grey/gum pair that I'm keeping the tongue on, but I think this colour way would look rad without it. more vintage maybe?

I chopped the tongue off a pair of busenitz and they look so weird. Only tried it on one ugly ass color way I barely wore. I bought like 8 pairs of that shoe.

Nothing wrong with cuting off the tounge on Busenitz's, some folks don't dig the "yo" look.

guess i see your point. saw some pic of you a while ago without the tongue but it just was not for me. while the tongue on the busenitz might feel like a little much to some (me too but i stil  love the type of shoe it is) it feely way more off to me without it
