calgary is a shithole. its one of the most poorly designed and soulless cities in the world.
i actually grew up in the community in this article, and knowing the area makes this article that much worse.
calgary is a city of over a million people with one fucking concrete skatepark. it is an abortion of urban planning.
its nothing but single family homes and strip malls.
it has a walkability index of -420.
you drive your fucking truck from your garage to your oil and gas job to the strip mall to the strip club back to your garage.
because there is nowhere to walk because there is nothing there.
you drive 100 km a day because your house is 30 km away from downtown and all that exists between downtown and your house are borderline identical copies of your house and maybe a couple strip malls.
even this woman is aware that the soccer field and the playground and the baseball diamond are deserted because they are just a formality.
just something to look at through the bay window of her shane homes stucco prison.
at least she can die in silence, with the rest of that shithole city.
