At the end of the AVE episode they mention Keys to the VIP. the show is insane just douches critiquing pick up artists. Best episode if you want a dumb laugh

KB said LA is cliquey and it's hard because he's friends with everyone but certain people don't get along so he can't skate with everyone together. Translation=noone  wants to be around Nakel

he said he skates parks 3-4 days a week which i believe. The funniest part was when they asked him what video games he plays and he goes off naming like 10

do you have a time stamp? i’m sure it’s about his suffer the joy part if anything, i remember him doing a variel heel to fakie on a mellow skatepark bank and a line with a five o shove. he was pretty much just hanging on at that point after injuries, his tis part is classic. good and evil had some really mellow clips in it as well though so it also could’ve been that.

That's almost more on the editor. Why not just use the best 5 or so clips in a montage. Using all of those clips is obviously a bad look

Yeah it's a weird choice. Even some more b-roll would've been less jarring if it were an issue of filling out the part.

Venice park is a crazy local to go to if you make a point to mention that you get nervous skating with people watching you with expectations.

If you scroll back he’s posted way more the last month or so and had a recent thrasher feature with a backtail on hubba. Compounded with this bunt episode and him saying he has footage I think we might be seeing the start of a comeback. Kb might be fried but dude skates a decent amount and has gone on a fuckton of trips since his last full part- gotta imagine he could drop a decent part.

Only watched the rapid fire so far, which was great, but could only notice that Cephas rides his wheels graphic out. I hope that's his gf's board in the background lol.

Have they ever had Gershon on? I'd like to hear much more about the bullshit he dealt with during his career especially the Reynolds incident. I saw him at an A-Team demo at The Wedge when I was a kid and he was insanely consistent and ripped the entire spot.

Also, skaters need to get at least basic accountants early on. Talking about Gershon leaving $30K royalty checks around and I remember Smolik saying he would only pick up checks when they were large enough and then he'd immediately cash them and its insane how much money is wasted.

Well, you guys provide insights into the runnings of an industry most of us don't have access to. And as a fan of skateboarding over the years/decades that is quite interesting to hear. Also the stories. Now we know all about towel boy.

Also curious about the double durometer wheel.
