Footprint making shoes, apparently: FP Footwear
« on: August 21, 2019, 07:54:12 AM »
So, I just ordered my first set of Footprint insoles, looking forward to them revolutionizing my life and all that. However, I also stumbled upon Footprints footwear brand FP Footwear. Some models look pretty fucking wonky, some I think look aight. I'm really curious about the tech they're using, apparently all of them come with construction actually made for human feet (imagine that) and a set of FP insoles (unsure which one). Also all kinds of features like double suede and stuff. Anyone tried them?

I had some really hard impact soles. Got them after I jammed my knee a few years ago. Wore them like once. But maybe the softer ones are better. They don’t look too bad but you know how it is with shoes. You gotta see them in person.

I use fp insoles in almost all of my shoes, so I kinda back it. I saw these shoes online a while ago and wondered, but never seen real reviews or anything. I only skate mids so they need to copy a sole tech silhouette.

Weird that the lowest impact skater ever Joey b is their flagship pro. They should bump Jaws from insole to shoe program.

Does anyone know about the ownership? Seems like they are part of colours but Idk if that's just the distribution.

footprint should just licence their insoles and tech to other companies instead of making their own shoes. lots of vulcs could benefit from a fat gamechanger sole. also cool since you can reuse the sole for your next pairs of shoes.

I ordered 2 pairs of the Citrus Slip back in November 2017. They were decent, maybe a tad loose for a slip and I stopped using them after a couple weeks despite them holding up great. One pair still on ice.

Using the Citrus Slip-ons right now. A tad loose, as you said, so I bought some suede heel grips for a couple of bucks and now they're actually really good. Solid heel support and along with a pair of Gamechangers my feet are actually feeling fresh after every session, even though they're hella thin. Sooooooo I recommend them, I guess.

So has anyone else actually skated any of these? Kind of curious and they all look slim, nice clean toe area and footprint insoles have worked for me in the past.

I know everybody on this site hates Neen but his model “the intercept” looks pretty clean in black, might have to try it out

It looks even slimmer profile than janoski and the laces are higher up.
