Quarantine builds

Krooked Sebo waves 8.25 14.38 wb - rough street roller
Indy 149 titanium, Bones medium bushings
Bones Swiss 6
OJ Keyframes 54mm

Krooked Wildflowers emb 8.5 14.25 wb
Indy 149 titanium, Bones medium bushings
Bones Swiss 6
Spitfire F4 locks 52mm

2nd Wildflowers in plastic will be getting same setup as current except with Venture 5.8 titaniums when they come in this week. Will be interesting to ride them side by side to compare The 149s to Venture. Last set of Ventures I had was on an Aesthetics setup in the mid 90s (still have it).

I like your style. The walls in my house are the same color as well.

b&c 7.75”X31.1” (13.88 wb)
thunder 147 team hollow
spitfire f4 classics 50mm 101a
reds
shake junt bolts

really liking this shape. decided to put together a “tech setup” first time ever having 50mm wheels and it’s been about 15 years since I’ve skated something below 8”. definitely helping with the flip tricks. highly suggest a b&c deck.
This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

yea, they have that graphic in a few different sizes. I was gonna get the 8” in this graphic too but it was sold out. I’m normally a fan of very flat boards, but this one I like, it’s definatley on the medium side. very round nose/tail.

Lol. Eldee is definitely a human. He’s like a raider on horse back who’s kinda scared to do battle. Somehow he closes his eyes and swings his sword wildly and wakes up in a pile of dead orcs.

- Anormal (chilean brand) 8.5x 32.25 x 14.25 looks like a full shape.
- Jigsaw griptape (also a Chilean brand, seems grippy enough but this one is a little blue glitterish)
- Thunder 1" allen
- Venture V-Lights 5.8
- F4 99 classics 53mm
- Swiss 6
This will be my main setup, for winter, since I don't care about screwing this board.

Chilean boards are hella good, I'm almost certain a lot of brands make their boards with Generator or at least seemed that way (I know this may not seem like something that impressive, but in Latin America local board brands don't always have the best quality boards) last board I had was a Wisdom 8.25 and it had best shape I've ridden.

Overall Chilean quality is pretty good, this one it was pressed here with Canadian maple and all that jazz.
I'm curious and scared.

pleasantly surprised to read this. i was reminiscing recently and came to the realization that my first "real" board was just a knock off Element heat transfer on a plank with no concave. Took me over a decade to see the obvious....

Does anyone know of board brands with medium to steep concave? I am currently skating a deathwish but it's a little too flat for my tastes.

Set up a new cruiser. I wanted to support my local during these times, and have a cruiser that's lighter than my old one.

Krooked Dan Drehobl Spinaul 9.25" x 31.8" with adjustable 14.25"/14.75" WB (I have mine set to 14.25")
Indy 169 with Bones Hardcore Mediums
OJ Mini Hot Juice 55mm 78a
MOB
Bones 1/8" risers (I'm going to replace them with 1/4" risers in the future)
1" hardware

It rides and skates pretty nice so far and the wheels actually slide (not as good as a hard wheel), but I was doing stalls on a parking block and tiny chunks of the wheel came off already. Not big enough that it affects its performance, but it's still a little disappointing.

Check out the wood shop 2020 thread and look at the brands that South Central makes (DOA, Politic). Pennswood makes a great deep concave deck too but they are hard to find.

If by hardware you mean the two missing mounting bolts, they are probably not missing, its just that wider Indys (159+) have the old mounting pattern in addition to the new standard.
