tried to "perform" something I made last night while watching a denzel movie. Vocals sounds rough as I am used to layer 10000 take. I like the idea of making something and getting rid of it a few hours later,  no tweaking, changing small details.

i enjoyed this, I'm into the textural loop in the background. real nice all around. i enjoy making music like this too.

anyways, happy with how it turned out, considering we recorded everything at home and I did the mixing, even though I'm pretty underqualified for that sort of stuff...Other than that I play bass and sing in there.

Will definitely try that, thanks! I'm not at the point yet where I can think about how to mix according to a certain genre, still bumbling around here ha... Not sure I'll ever get to become a good mixer though. I kinda lack the patience (and precise ears....) so I hope at some point I can give the tracks to someone who knows what he is doing!

It already sounds pretty good. Just read a book or two about mixing and you have an idea what to look out for and stuff. The foundation is pretty easy.
