I may be completely wrong, and you are some sort of alt right, men's rights guy, but I feel like you post and enjoy tasteful skateboarding. I don't mind your presence. You can put it down and walk away for a while. I post about 5% of what I did in past years, but am always lurking.

Nah dude, I may be a newbie (long time lurker, though) but you are one of the better posters on here. I agree, there are so many shit posts, lately.

If it wasn't for you Dave, I would've never learned the term "boul." And for that I thank you. You also encouraged me to relearn back tails once, which was nice.
But if you go to your stats and see how much time you've spent on the site, and you find it overwhelmingly depressing, that might be a sign to focus.

I always think it’s weird when a long time poster feels the need to focus instead of just stop posting. It really does give off some kind of addiction vibes. And sometimes it makes me kinda sad like they died or something. Thinkin of Rockadio...

What do you think is the problem exactly? You made it sound like it was the current state of the Slap Massage Boards in your OP ("shit kinda wack now")...but then you offered to focus your own account, which indicates that you think at least some of the culpability lies with you?
I like your postings. I think you should stick around.
I do believe there has been a slow news cycle as it pertains to skateboarding, which -- coupled with some unimaginative thread topics that have risen in lieu of any exciting developments -- has led to a certain amount of staleness on UWTB. I can agree with you there.
It's as if we are the main characters in the middle of a sprawling, ambitious television show that is serialized with huge stakes, interesting characters, and always moving towards an explosive season finale....but these past two weeks here have just been kind of filler episodes, just mini-episodic adventures for us all to wallow and waste our time in, just going around in circles, not really getting us any closer to any real payoff.
But I say hang in there. It'll probably turn around and get better.
