one of the good things about where i live is we know most of the young skaters and try and set them on the right path.
there's a lot less of the making shit up stuff.
you can also yell at them about what ever it is you want them to stop doing and they most likely will because there going to see you most days they skate.

They are basically trying to cover up the fact that the company is run by a bunch of motocross and triathlete guys by branching the sports out into a larger network of sites. I have a friend that told me that about 20 people just quit that company recently for numerous reasons. Hmmm i wonder why...more details coming soon :)

All the Victorian literature is a bore. Henry James, Dickens all that stuff is terrible in my opinion.

i'm not too sure. i'm not a huge dickens fan (although i did enjoy "the old curiosity shop") i just couldn't get into "great expectations." maybe because i had to read it for school and it was my first introduction to dickens's real writings? i'll have to go back and re-read it eventually and see if my opinion has changed. it must just be the memories of the bad teaching with it and tainting my view on it, but i will agree that although dickens is by no means my favorite author, he is a great writer.

I have been aware of these sites for some time but what I don't understand is this - when you gain a "sponsor", do they send people stuff? I am sure some of the kids get free shit but it can't be possible that everyone gets something. That would probably put some of these companies out of business. Is getting "sponsored" on one of these sites akin to liking a page on facebook? Maybe I just answered my own question.
