He probably used adobe Illustrator no? Thats what the major shoe designers use to create roughs of shoes.

My second attempt. I wanted to make a shoe that was similar to the dunk with alot of similar features you would find in a more tech shoe. I combined the dunk mid silhouette with the sole of the Supra Ellingtons with a real airbag & the toecap of the etnies Marana. I have contemplated  just giving it the basic dunk sole & taking off the marana toe cap but whatever thats something you can imagine on your own if you'd prefer a more simpler shoe. theres also a mesh tongue & inside sidewall similar to the g6's or reynolds as well as the swoosh being "fused" on like with the P-Rod 6's or Kostons.

I picture this in the colours of the back to the future shoe.  Grey suede with the grey rubber toe piece.  Pretty sick dude.

Here's one i did up for Huf....

And a Nike joint I've been working on as well...

this is how i;d want a shoe..its similar to the circa maxson which was a pretty good shoe for my needs.. good shit man, i'd buy thos hufs if they existed in real life.  do you work in design?

I did this shoe for a footwear design competion, and I got a sholarship to this Pensole footwear design academy up in portland. Got to skate Burnside and listen to some NIke designers. Its a Vans stage four traced, cause my drawing is pretty weak.
This one I did in Portland. Its a slip on mid top cupsole, with a rubber patch on the toe. I Really focused on improved fit, with a snug booty like inside system. Dont mind the texture on the toepiece, its supposed to be embossed suede.I would love ti hear what you guys think about em
good work- looks like it got you into a really cool program at school- props on that too~

I did shoe design for my graphic design major assignment in year 11, lost all the finished versions on a stolen computer though.

Hufs look pretty rad but I would like them better with more toe and less lace holes like in the Nike shoe under it.

^ Seriously dude those designs are sick, how exactly do you paint them like that? I plan on making a pair of custom skytop 3's. It's the all white TUF one's but I wanna keep the sole, tongue, and inside collar all white, painting just the upper in a dark, flat black. I got some colored paracord that I want to use for the laces as well. Tryna get on some creative shit with my kicks lol. But my main concern is painting it properly because I dont want the paint to crack if I'm skating or wearing these for a while. The TUF material is like some sort of treated canvas that's really durable but kind of stiff before breaking in so I'm wondering if it should flex out the upper before painting just to less the likelihood of it cracking.

The Tuf material should paint well, the trick will be to keep your paint super light to avoid flooding the holes in the canvas. I'd go for multiple passes of very light spray.
As for keeping paint off the places you don't want it to go, I'm very careful with masking. The prep work takes longer than the painting.

really hyped on how this turned out. It was inspired by the Jordan 3's, Project BA's, Salazars, and Skytop 3's
