Jack O wins the hair department (but minus points for the buckethead).
Vincent Touzery is the only one to really pull off Dunks occasionally.

I feel this, the only acceptable jorts are when your jeans are completely fucked so you cut em into jorts for a summer.

That being said im gay so rocking faded/worn out cut offs is acceptable. Straight people should proceed with caution.

Jorts look good/bad for the same reason: they’re ironic. IMO Cromer has become the epitome of jorts/thrift trend wear, not in a bad way. Since his clothes fit correctly it looks a lot better than the supreme guys. But still, seeing him rock them religiously has me reconsidering my own jort choices and thinking it’s always been about pure irony. Is there any inherent utility value to short denim pants?

Medium baggy khakis or denim pants and white tee for the win.

I feel like all the Aussie & NZ dudes pull the jort look off really well but I’m old and know I can’t run it like that

For me it’s Tom Remillard.  He doesn’t ever seem like he’s dressing up/costuming himself and can pull off wearing sponsored gear like it’s his own.

I’m sorry but half of this thread is literally just name a bang averagely dressed skater.

Not trying to call people out but trying to look from the perspective of how much the average skaters get up has evolved. I’ve dipped in and out of here and skating over the past 10 years and back then it was pretty obvious who was setting trends, who was following and who was wasn’t willing to follow the trend. Then the alternative look just kind of exploded to where everyone kind of dresses the same again.

Well aware that i’ve just explained how trends normally work like a total bellend haha. I think it’s interesting that maybe people’s opinions on dress sense is regressing again maybe?

Maybe it is a form of regression. But “fashion” in skating has been through so many gross extremes. Super baggy to skin tight. Puffy ass shoes to Dylan slips. Super fresh to super Hesh. Maybe some of us are fans of dressing clean, proper, and normal.
