Are you kidding me? Shelltoes are great to skate in. And you don't feel the shell at all, it just feels like the inside of any other shoe. I don't know why some of you guys think that. Maybe they've never actually worn them, in which case their opinion is pretty much invalid.

Watch H-Street's "Lick" to get pumped on shelltoes. The whole team (all 436,865 members) rocked them.

ok... the top ones look exactly like the AVE's that were out about 5 years back... everyone was on that dick... now its frankenstein? pat duffy was ripping those in "Are you Alright?" they are dope goes with basically any kind of pant. also looks like what rob pluhowski was rocking on Mosaic.

the other ones look exactly like a stan smith just straight up plain shoe

you guys are focusing too much on the gay colourways in those photos mine are all white with a dark blue stripe not frankenstein looking AT ALL looks like a normal shoe that pretty much everyone wears

yeah i've seen dudes skating both and they seem to do alright. personally I need a vulc sole or I get too frustrated trying to break a shoe in, but if you can skate a cupsole then they're be fine.

excvept mine arent in that regular colourway mine are all white with navy blue stripes and they are made out of a more leathry, durable material than that canvas stuff.
