skateboarding used to not be mainstream, people made fun of us for wearing big pants and simply for being skateboarders.

the object of pogs is quite easy. all you have to do is make sure that all the pogs are faced down. the person to get last pog faced down wins.

its the childrens form of gambling.  you put in how many pogs you want to risk, your opponent matches you or bones out because he doesnt want to loose his pogs. then you stack them up, play rock paper scissors person who wins deicdes to go first or second. then you grab your slammer witch is a pog shaped thick piece of plastic that you used to throw at the top of the pog stack. you collect all the face down pogs and move them into your pog container or your shoe box or whatever you got because those is your pogs now.

i had a slammer for everything i had the sickest power slammer, it was thicker then every kids on the block. i also had my tko, a metal slammer that just fucked everyones shit up. it eventually got banned and i only used it for the kids on the other side of the block.

my favorite thing to do was when there was a fat pog stack like 50 pogs and i went first was just clip the edge. "clipping" it was a power move and i was a god.
Han solo blew up the Death Star in Episode 4.  Heard it from a friend.  Reliable source.

Best soda ever!

He's in prison now (deservedly), but he was the most entertaining governor we've ever had (with the sole exception of Huey P. Long). To his credit, he kept us from having David Duke run the state (who also served several years in the clink).

Late 80's. It tasted like 7up, but it was sweeter and had a hint of cinnamon. It also had caffeine.

Swat Cats was the crud (get it?).

Does anyone remember the Works. They were Sour Cream, Cheese, Chives, and Bacon chips. Mmmmmmmm, they were so good. I miss them.
