my favorite movie i've ever seen is either la haine or pulp fiction

For me it's Drugstore Cowboy. 

Recently I really liked the shape of the water.....is this movie as good?  No way...but is it as good as Ladybird or shit...any of the Star Wars movies...even if it's not, I enjoy the subject matter and in my mind could have been way worse so I give it an 8....

saw the movie last night and I somewhat regret not just seeing the new Suspiria remake instead. The dialogue between the skaters made me cringe the whole time. Pretty sure Jonah made us sit through a rape scene. The characters had no depth, the scene with nak explaing everyones home life just seemed so fake, theres no explanation as to why the brothers an asshole besides the fact "mom was different before you were born". the scene with the hairbrush and stevie choking himself with a wire were never explained. and the ending... oh brother what was that!?

Pretty sure Mikey Alfred gases all these kids up to think they are some big time actors when that couldnt be further from the truth. Who in Hollywood is giving them these co-signs? first HBO and now a WHOLE ASS MOVIE?!

but i will say the movie did hit all the feels of first getting introduced to skating and everything that came with it so ill give it that

The only things I can think of as to why Stevie scraped himself with the hairbursh is he wanted it to look like he ate shit skating? If that was the case they would have showed him talking about it with his friends though? Maybe it was like punishing himself for stealing? Weird either way.
