i hope people realize that before the bike rack was cut out it was pretty fuckin big, then people would just put the bike rack closer to the gap to make smaller.
This statement is very true. I went there like 3 years ago and one side of the bikewrack was cut, so you could swivel it outta the way if you didn't wanna get gnarly, cause the gap itself is only the height of like an 8 stair. But the gap w/ the bike rack was sooo rediculously long considering what tricks had already been done. I couldn't imagine smashing that fast and hucking a flip trick over it. Even though Brian Anderson kickflipped it goin hella slow after like two pushes in a line, wtf? I dunno, maybe it's gotten less gnarly now that I'm older, like some spots do.
I did a few tricks without the rack but I'd feel gay claiming them. Karl Watson was so happy for me, which was probably the best pro encounter I've ever had, I was so star-struck hahah He was sizing it up for switch varial heel. Anyone know if he ended up trying it?
