That was an shocker, Neuer never drops a ball like that, overconfidence?

And then Bayern was just in shock...and that never-ending Real Madrid luck...

I do feel that Madrid have expired the good luck they will have this UCL, and Borussia will provide the surprise of the season...

Would like to see Reus lift that cup!

As a neutral I really hope this happens. There aren't really any plucky underdogs in these latter CL stages, but Borussia is as close as it gets to being one. And I'll always root for the underdog.

Plus the Dortmund manager was in the stands in 2012 rooting for them (he’s a lifelong fan)

Sancho got to save his career by not apologizing to Ten Hag

Honestly just looked like it took a bounce he wasn't expecting.

Only saw the end of the game, that was crazy. and yeah VERY dodgy call for that Mazraoui offside. I read the refs have received instructions to let play continue, how in hell can that happen in a champions league semi final??
All german final would have been nuts.....has that ever happened, a final between  clubs of the same country?

PUTAIN DE MERDE DE CHIER DE BORDEL DE MERDE.
me and my kids were screaming at the TV, don't think I've ever seen a team hit the woodwork so many times over 2 games... Fair play to Dortmund though, they defended really well and just took their chances.

that's unfair IMO. if you took money out of the equation and only talent counted, Paris would destroy every club every year....At the last WC, 28 players and 2 coaches came from Paris area  (playing for France, Portugal, Cameroon, Tunisia, and even Qatar). The Paris area produces more pro players than any other place on earth....(second being Sao Paulo area in Brazil)

sources:

https://www.leparisien.fr/sports/football/coupe-du-monde/lile-de-france-premier-centre-de-formation-de-la-coupe-du-monde-22-11-2022-2YQ3YP3AOZHSHF2RLZU7GQAYME.php
https://www.eurosport.fr/football/formation-francaise-l-ile-de-france-le-plus-grand-vivier-du-monde_sto7745824/story.shtml

edit: according to Sofoot magazine, in the french, spanish, german, english and italian leagues, players from Paris area represent 10% of all players......

The french teams are really good in promoting young players. France is unbelievable when it comes to young talent but I never knew the exact numbers. 10% from the parisien area is insane ....Still no love for PSG since Qatar took over, sorry

Dang it, I wished I had watched the Bayer-Roma game. Bayer levelled with the last kick of the game, keeping their unbeaten run going.

Bayer Leverkusen is low-key following Real Madrid's trick; over the past month or so they've kept their unbeaten record alive in the last minutes of the game something like four times.

I hope they can keep the team together for a CL challenge.  Made me sad Leicester didn’t get to do that with their title winning roster

I think they will keep the team together, I'm sure Alonso wouldn't be staying on if they were gonna sell everyone.

Sorry to double post but here is a picture from our local foot/rugby stadium. It's rugby tonight and I never sit up here for foot.

If your on the other side you see snow topped mountains. But well we got the cheap seats (€13)...

I hope so, I just fear when big clubs start calling with big paychecks, Wirtz or Frimpong might start getting itchy.   Everyone pretends they want to be a Jamie Vardy until the calls stop coming

Understand he's our only option atm and is playing out of position at CB, but bro Casemiro is so washed now it's incredible, idk how you have such a bad fall off from one season to the next. He's been the sole reason why we've lost/tied a few of our most recent PL games, get this man to Saudi asap.

Dude wtf is up with those incels? Go to a fucking pub or the stadium to watch football. Can't bear those type of guys with their forced emotional reactions just to get clicks.

Edit: Please also stop making a player a scapegoat when your team loses. Soccer is a team sport and this kind of behavior doesn't help anyone.

They ain’t taking him.
He’ll be sitting out his 350k/a-week contract at Utd.

So Saint Pauli is back up! Would love to be able to go to a match next season, its been ages.

Crazy that  Aston Villa is in the champions league, Unai Emery has to be one of the best coaches at the moment, considering they were in shit at the bottom of the table when he took over last season. Guess its Citys league as cannot see West Ham winning away to City.. Wonder what will happen between Nottm Forest and Luton..

Yeah the team collectively actually defended well compared to the Palace game, but one silly mistake from a 5x UCL winning player on defense basics that is understood by 5yo footballers is fair criticism to make especially when he was debatably our best player last season.

What doesn't help is pretending that it's ok for players to switch off at the end of the season when they're on super high wages. This leads to putting blame on managers and not players, and then we're in this fuckshit never ending cycle of crap football and sacking coaches every 2 years, can't compete for trophies with this approach as you can see with Utd the past 11 years.

Unai is just one of those guys who is perfect for getting mid-table teams to overachieve.    I hope he doesn’t chase another Arsenal-type gig and leave Aston
