thrasher would be blowing it by snubbing an “overseas” skater after the olympics, believe it or not. this award has been all about generating money since its inception and now is a monumental time to grow the industries international presence

look at past winners, the happenings in the year, direction of the skate scene, etc. fully prepared to get banged over the head with footy but outside of purely skate purposes, yuto winning makes the most sense politically and financially in my opinion

most powerful trick of the year was Chima's switch 360 flip over the rail. Just insane balls and control...

Also, Dilo had a weird stumble push then switch 360 flip explosion...

Team Jack but for me it's crazy like Kyle Walker not only isn't on this list but hasn't even been mentioned. His part was more fucked up than anything else this year and I don't even really care for him

It’s gonna be funny if Yuto’s last minute, under-three minute part with a shipload of filler tricks ends up putting him over the line.

Ya, it was such a strategic part, I feel like they used like 5 or 6 "solid" clips and the rest was just throwaway.

Although Mark did a similar thing with that part he put out before his spitfire part.

Also, John Shanahan should as least be in contention. He's been putting out quality footage in every part, even if its its for some random jeans company.
