Thought of this a while back, but are there any notable snowboard pushes that you can think of? By that, I mean pushing on the inside of your board (like people do when they get onto the chairlift to go up the mountain at a ski resort). Im sure there's tons. Usually the skater is just trying to save the line after an awkward landing.
Example: Kyle Walker at 5:29

Let's not call this a snowboard push.

Post a better descriptor fuckboi

Axel did a pretty nice looking one on KOTR 2 years back going into a pool
-
I used to snow board and never pushed like that. I cant push much at all on a skate before my repetitive strain issues come up. Thats why I like some transition around or stuff you can skate without having to push a bunch.
-
isn't that called a jazz push?

It's 100% called jazz push.
Eminem you need to focus, dawg.

This one is really gross.
-
Koston pulled it off in some video, I don't remember which.
Then again maybe it was MJ in Yeah Right as mentioned and I'm just confused.
This is how you push onto a chairlift on a snowboard, otherwise you are probably banging your board against someone else who isn't stoked.
-
I 100% endorse the jazz push.
Also, Peter Grannis performed a beautifully executed ska push in a Pyramid Country video.
-
Koston in chomp was jazz or was it froston
-
Some call it mongo I call it jazz

I back the jazz push, but that Kyle Walker example is not the one.
-
Love em'. They come in handy if your weight is a little too backside and look better than saving with a mongo push or tic tac. But sometimes I do them for fun anyway. Gotta say though, not feelin' those quicky ones in some of these examples. Give that fucker a good honest stroke; not fooling anyone with a juke step.
-
I had to go back and watch this MJ line. He even has an awkward one foot overbalance in it along with the jazz.
