Never expected to hear Kerosene used in a video at this point, but glad I did.

I remember using The Power if Independent Trucking for a quick 2 minute homie video I edited in '90, but we had so little footage I had to include a could of near-makes just to round it out.  Hard to stack clips with dad's full-size VHS at the time.

I remember having to hide “Songs About Fucking” like it was a Penthouse magazine so my mom wouldn’t see it, haha.  Good times.

I used it in a video I made in 2000. But I'm nobody, just a homie vid, if someone did use it recently I'd like to see it.

We also used to prank call Steve Albini in '95

He got mad, it was funny

Same for me.  Mom would have never understood.

hah, derailed into a Steve Albini appreciate thread...Frank and palelight, both of those are definitely jams, and although i put these up in the music section not too long ago, if we're talking Shellac i'm still addicted to the very first two 7"s:

Rapeman is cool because it's like the grey area between Big Black and Shellac.
All three of those projects are great though but I'd probably give Shellac the edge if I had to pick a favorite.

the "grey area" between the other two is spot on...

...Rapeman will always hold a special place in my heart, because it was on repeat during a crazy time in my life when driving out to Bill Ferguson's skatepark in Kalamazoo from Detroit every Sunday morning pretty much saved my life, and putting in Two Nuns and a Pack Mule and lighting a joint was how those ritual drives always began..."Kim Gordon's Panties" (11:13) brings me right back to then, to very this day...

Been a while since I listened to Doris, much appreciated. I could listen to Todd Trainer playing drums all goddamn day.
