Why does Janoski have a pro shoe with Nike?

Why have a Shane O'Neil colourway of a Janoski shoe? Why not give Shane is own signature shoe? Why not give a signature shoe to Brian Anderson or Gino Iannucci, or any number of other amazing skaters on the Nike roster?

Janoski - first of all - fucking rips. Take an evening and watch his parts. He was also smart enough to push Nike to release a vulc shoe when they didn't want to and its the best selling skate shoe of all time - maybe the D3 has sold more, but fuck that shoe.

Unfortunately - and obviously this doesn't help back my comments AT ALL - I don't have the actual numbers, just know / have known people with intimate knowledge of such things. Sorry.

For what it’s worth, a shop I worked at in the late 2000s sold the 2nd P. Rod shoe very well. Limited sample size, but one of the better selling shoes we carried.

I worked at a skate shop for quite a while and P-Rod's shoes sat for years, Kostons did okay but it wouldn't be worth restocking.

Janoski on the other hand, the black and white colourway had to be reordered over and over in every size to keep up with demand (Maybe not so much now but in it's peak).

Plus the guy is a legend. Focus your account.
