Let me explain before you judge. I admit I am a little biased since I am a fucking huge Community fan, but this really is worth a listen. Though this Oreo is a walking contradiction, he is incredibly clever and clearly intelligent. His rhymes are hilarious and sharp. This isn't the type of shit you're gonna want to blast with the windows down when summer hits, but give it a shot. It's interesting to see where people are going in this post-Drake/MBDTF world and this is a great example.

My friend Justin makes music under the name Craft Spells and their debut album came out on Captured Tracks today (home to Wild Nothing, Beach Fossils etc)
It's pretty much a great album. Most other groups under the "dreampop" genre have the tendency to become boring after a couple listens but this one rises to the top.

New Wave influences, strong pop hooks and vocals that sound oddly like Moz at times. Solid all the way through... give it a listen and buy it afterwards

This kinda sounds like Pavement playing Ariel Pink. It's a little sloppy and simple at times but the songs are very charming and catchy.

Donald Glover is a pretty funny dude, and I've heard a couple of his songs (he had a good interview on the Nerdist Podcast and they ended with one even), and he's not terrible.
but when people bring up the ol' "what did you ever do it your life?" argument, all I want to do is back the other side of an issue.
What Pyrex has or hasn't done with his life doesn't make a shits difference to the quality of whatever the fuck Donald Glover does, so stop pretending like the only way to criticize someone or their work is to have already been there or somehow above them in employment or some made up idea about a persons self-worth.
