This is a new phenomenon, and I don't remember ever being hugged after landing a trick.

Is that why I have intimacy issues?

I have more of an issue with running with the board, putting it down and then pushing. If I counted correctly Elijah Berle had 3 clips in his part where he does this. No problem with him doing this but why show?

Bro hugs are cliche at this point but many aspects of skate videos are. What can you do? Ignore I guess...

I love the love. Kids seeing this will emulate the behavior which is great. It's cool, to celebrate show love, and support your friends.

in the edit, maybe save it for the ender as i feel that it has more impact. I've noticed in some videos they wait a few seconds to get the roll away before they run in and start screaming. I wonder how purposeful that is.

Love my skate friends like they were my brothers. Recently though a girl friend of mine suggested that we probably chest bump when we skate, and that idea made me gag haha. Chest bumping in 104 degree texas heat and feeling their sweat splatter against your chin.
So I mean intimacy issues aside I just couldn’t imagine us kissing or hugging. No shame to anyone who does though

overly sexual jokes between my homies are completely normal so hugging my friend after he lands a cool trick seems fine. however i dont remember the last time i was so hyped that i wanted to hug my homie; a loud scream or a strong dap up always works
