Oh fuck. I love white leather. Those white/black lows are amazing, actually a colour I really wanted. Honestly may be the first shoe I've paid full retail for in decades, and I might have to buy two.
Cons made some Pro Leathers when the line was first introduced. They were pretty good shoes, if you can find the skate specific versions I highly recommend it.

Yep, at first they made one that the shape was a bit different and the sole was completely different. But they came in black/white so I got them anyway. They were too thick and I couldn't get down with them. Then they made the ones you posted above and I got them in a black suede with grey suede logo. Skated them a bit and then just chilled in them. I still have them at my house but they're so beat they're not even really worth wearing anymore. Then they came out with this version with the gusset tongue that's the same shoe, but something was just a little off. Don't like that "CONS" on the side either. Would have still got them though but they didn't make it to Canada.

Basically I'm just super picky about colour. Really only want black/white lows or white/black lows. I'm bummed those white/black say "PRO LEATHER" on the side, but I'd still rock them.

Those cons look like a perfect shape. Is the toe a bit boxier than on the CTAS? CTAS looks good but I find them a bit too pointy to skate properly.

Does anyone know how the regular Adidas Campus' skate versus the ADVs? I can't get down with the heel clip and long tongue on the ADVs.

Og campus skate just fine, the sole is not as grippy but they do the trick. Nothing to write home about but a solid choice none the less

I would say it's a little wider, but I've never had a problem with the toe on the CTAS.

Rebook workout SK!?!?

I skated several pair of Reebok DGK workouts. They were great. I just question the durability and grip of these that don't specifically say skateboarding

I had some leather ones and tbh I didnt rly like them, they were really slippery so getting flick is difficult and they also get really narrow and square at the front. The leather also wasnt very durable but suede ones might be better

No good skate shoes in my size on the Adidas sale but I got these for chillers. If they’re not too clunky and break in nicely I’ll definitely skate them at some point. Strap is probably coming off regardless as well.

I feel like I have seen someone get a clip in these but I'm not sure.

These look like a Heitor da Silva type shoe

pf flyers are good, although the older model soles feel much better.

old model

old models have a very thick vulcanized outsole that lasts a very long time, deeeeep tread, good grip, thick canvas, and they feel broken in feel right out of the box. they are comparable to some vulcanized adidas skate shoes in quality.

new model

new models squeak a lot but they don't actually grip the board well and don't last as long since the tread is so thin...the board feel isnt great either. its like skating a normal jack purcell or some shit. other than that, it's basically the same thing.

oh and knock off pf flyers are good too, as long as they have the old sole. you can tell theyre knockoffs by how thin the canvas is and how the patch on the ankle is sewed on fabric and how the soles are fully gum colered/don't have the black pf flyers lettering.

Been skating a pair of non skate one stars. Switched the insole out for an old lunarlon and have been really liking them. Love the flick on them. At first the board felt a bit iffy but its all good that they're broken in now. Only thing I hate is the leather inside collar that have blistered my heel.

I had a pair of those forever ago. With navy stripes. I think I took the velcro off as well. Don't remember them being conducive to skating or I probably would have gave them a shot.

Those Hogans actually look really sick, except I wouldn't want people thinking I'm wearing Hufs haha.

I had the opposite of that happen on a trip to Vegas a couple years ago. I had a fresh white pair of Hupper 2 Lows on, and people in very expensive stores/restaurants kept asking me if they were Hogans. I had to google it to figure out what they were talking about.

Ooooooh umma numma them GTS shits would get it.

There used to be this Reebok shoe called The Samson that I would always try and get on Ebay but could never find. This was in the mid 00's when vulc wasn't as big as it is now.

I was always trying to find a pair of these Adidas Spok in my size too:

I’m sorry moe but I’m gonna have to disagree

So far the reg adidas campus are probably my most favorite skate shoes ever

Maybe cause I prefer medium thin cup soles but man they are my jazz

Them and dunks top 2 I would skate forever

Gonz, Julien etc all did in the early to mid nineties. They actually had one of the best teams of all time.

arbor foundation. i realize that arbor is a lifestyle brand that is on the fence of skating/surf/snow, and these may be marketed as shoes for skating, but the silhouette of these are pretty nice. nice colorways too. there's a laced version and a slip on version.

They definitely stretched some lines on a half-cab for this one, but I did em.
The quality looks better than most skate brands now days.

These look decent.

These look like they’d work for sure. Any ‘court’ shoes that have an upper that can withstand skating. Volleyball, tennis.....the nike cage tennis shoe looks a lot like the e-cue.
Other activities ask for more substance in their equipment (I understand and agree with much of skatings Luddite ways, if I was young I still might enjoy wispy sneakers) so I keep looking to basketball etc for tech that hopefully moves to skating.
Good find
