That's badass....
I've got a house that's about 100 years old that I've been working on for the past five years. I've got most of the insulation/heating/cooling/wiring/plumbing dialed in so no I' doing a lot of the more rewarding stuff like retrofitting all the old wood moldings and antique lighting. This weekend I was re-glazing some of the original old windows and got started with picture rail molding in the kitchen.
What part of the country are you in? You should try and find the original outhouses and dig them out. If it was a hotel then there's at least a couple, maybe four. Look for some square shaped depressions in the ground maybe 20 to 50 ft out the back doors, maybe off to one side. As a stage coach stop/hotel those things would be full of hand blown whisky, beer, and medicine bottles. Might even find some coins or saloon tokens.
Hopefully nobody's dug them out yet, but that'd be easy to tell. There'd shit loads of broken glass all over the ground around the depressions and you'd probably find Coke cans, plastic bags or other modern trash in the top few feet. If it hasn't been dug the ground will be full of stove ash and be the consistency of like baby powder. Super soft, full of rusty metal, broken glass, and bottles.
