I'm going to remake my bullshit local park when I get the chance.
I plan on making real-life spots and parks when the map gets boring. Hopefully that won't be until winter, so I can see this game lasting me a while.
I didn't play the first one. I didn't play the second. I didn't play many video games at all in the last 3 years, to be honest.
But I'm considering renting this. On a scale of 1 to rad-balls, how would everyone rate this for someone who never touched the prequels?
I'm no gamer; I own the skate games and like 2 others from the OG xbox that I play a few times per year. So I'm obviously leaning towards rad-balls.
The learning curve for it is kind of steep; the tutorial/skate school is pretty thorough and allows you to get the basics down, but actually "mastering" stuff relies a lot on getting your timing right, and that will only come with playing for a while. And if you plan on playing hardcore mode, you're probably in for a rough time.
