BATMAN V SUPERMAN

Anyone hyped for Batman V Superman. It visually looks great, Snyder did a great a job with Watchmen. The graphic novel is one of the best.

Supposedly, Aquaman and Bizarro will be in the film.

Aquaman is in it, and there's no Bizarro but I can see why people would think that because of certain things.

This movie makes my dick so hard it might snap.

Same here. They kinda blew it with revealing Doomsday in the trailer, but whatever. Batfleck is all I need.

yeah that was super lame but I remember someone involved with the movie being quoted saying something along the lines of "doomsday is just the tip of the iceberg" so hopefully that reveal wasn't as big as it seems cause if so then they gave away like the entire third act

I get where everyone is coming from, but I don't see Doomsday as a huge spoiler because really he's just a fight. He's not much of a villain. He's an animal who smashes shit you know? How he's involved in the story is going to be more interesting than the character itself, because when you break it down he's just a monster who roars and smashes stuff. Not much else to him. Luthor is the main villain in this film, but he's not fighting anybody. He weighs 130lbs.

I'm really excited for how it sets up the coming Batman movies and how they'll introduce Jason Todd.

Granted I'm no expert on this character whatsoever... but in the trailer he seems to do more than smash shit.

Either way, stoked on this movie.

Not on the edge of my seat mostly because of Zack Snyder and Bat Affleck. DC Comics seems to have very lackluster superheroes apart from Batman and Swamp Thing.

Then you, Garth Marenghi, have a limited understanding of DC comics.

Probably. Any recommendations?

Limited understanding of the DC Comic universe doesn't affect my ability to look at the trailers, premise of the movie or other films the director has made and see little worth hoping for. I'll watch it anyways and hopefully be pleasantly surprised.

The part where he nuts out of his mouth and eyes

and causes this

Unless that's not even Doomsday... again, I'm no expert.

I can't answer any of these without spoiling shit. So I won't. But it's cool.

Garth to me the best part of DC, and why I prefer it to Marvel stuff, is that barring a few, most of the characters are extraordinary but mortal humans. Marvel involves a lot of magic and "just because they can" stuff for their characters. Everybody's a mutant or meta or inhuman or whatever they're calling them now. DC has fantastical elements sure, but it's fantastical stuff happening to humans. They have humanistic motivations for whatever they're doing. Also their villains shit all over Marvel villains.

Man of Steel was okay but I've never been a Superman guy. The premise is promising, but I hate Zack Snyder.

Snyder did a great a job with Watchmen.

No.

My guess is that putting Aquaman in the film is hinting at an Aquaman movie in the future.

As for Bizarro, it's Superman's evil twin.

DC is just darker than Marvel, not lakcluster.

I am greatly anticipating you all witnessing me make Superman eat his own shit, shit out the shit he ate, and eat it again.

In all seriousness though, I'm super hyped on this.

wait so... you guys all missed this clip that came out on Monday?  i have been saying it for months... this movie will be a steaming pile of dogshit and will make DC look like a bunch of morons for ever hiring Zack "corny-ass" Snyder to helm their attempt to destroy the Marvel juggernaunt at the box office...

seriously, just watch this.  you'd swear it's a fan film

holy fuck this is going to suck so hard

Can't say I'm too excited for this, I guess I'm burnt out on super hero movies in general. There are just so many out or coming out so I find it hard to give a shit anymore.

that really did make me chuckle, pretty bad all around. Sups speech is so stilted, he sounds like he's trying to hide a Yugoslavian accent, and Afleck looks like an angry fat kid, which no offense to angry fat kids, is just not a good look for Batman.

Superman had loving foster parents that seemed to give him unconditional love like a son of their own.  Bruce Wayne got Alfred.
