Spankys insta posts lately have been on point too. Solid skating and great trick selection. I rewatched baker has a deathwish recently and realized it’s kind of a precursor to the whole wallie grind trend now with him mostly skating weird barriers and stuff.

His Baker 3 part especially seems ahead of a few trends in hindsight.

People talk about the storm flip a lot, but it doesn't get brought up enough how weird it is that Jerry Hsu did a bluntslide nosegrab to fakie, just thrown in the middle of his Black Cat part. Cool to see him do another one, and his fakie flips are my favorite.

The best way I can define about how I feel about what I just watched is that BOS II is Miklo and I'm Al. It rubbed me the right way. Jerry fucking rules,Spanky fucking rules, AA and AVE together is like peaches and cream.

Some thoughts

- I like the way Andrew Allen falls

- Seeing glimpses of Dylan. makes me smile. I hope we never run out of clips.

- Soundtrack is great.

- Can someone make me a list of obligatory 80's movies to watch. Despite being 30, I feel like I've seen 5% of the movies someone my age has seen.

- Maybe I only like fuck around Swan footage. His parts never do it for me, but that wasn't bad.

- More Jerry footage.

- Gino's one clip was perfect.

- Alex Olson is so good. Seeing him and McCrank share a part would be cool. I feel as though they have some similarities in tricks and spots.

- I hate watching Aruba skate. Probably because that's how bad I look on a board, it's like looking in a mirror.

Overall loved I loved it. It was exciting to see who was gonna be in what section and some guys was in a few different sections.

Yesterday when I was watching it I was so stoked and I told my roommate who doesn’t skate I need to use the tv to watch it etc and he’s stoked cause of how excited I was. He comes back and the way too long Jefferson’s part was playing and I felt embarrassed because it was so cringe. I get he’s the homie but damn that was almost unbearable to watch

One of my most hated editing practices that people do now. I want everyone's footage to be in one spot to feast on. I fucking hate it.

But I still loved the video. Rowan is amazing. And it's unbelievable the types of tricks the Jeffersons can do but can't seem to go faster than a snail's pace or tic tac out of everything.
