It is 565, don't have a heating pad though. I'm hoping the winter coat I wrapped up the carboy in does the trick. I'll try and save a bottle or two. PM in a month or so

I've been drinking a chocolate stout lately. I got into it and can't seem to enjoy other beers now

My wife and I went to Colorado this last weekend. Spent about 400 on beer. Whoops.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

I have been beating the shit out of Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin and Deschutes Fresh Squeezed. I decided to give the IPA's a break lately and went on a cheap, macro kick. National Bohemian, Schlitz, Schaefer, Moosehead, Natural. What's known as 'shitty beer' or beer flavored water. There's actually some hidden gems out there.

Anyone with access to Olympia and willing to ship to PA? I would make it worth your time. $$$

That's a cool looking bottle. Full Sail makes good Summertime beers.

Ayo StoopKid, how are things coming along? Tried a sample bottle of my saison the other day and it's not what I expected, but I don't hate it. It's a tad sweeter than I anticipated and I got a slight amyl acetate (banana) thing going on.

It's hard to get those dried out. Lots of time in the fermenter and usually better results if you are pitching with two strains (WLP566 for flavors and WLP029 to dry it out more). You could always do a mini krausening with the WLP029....

Welp I already bottled it, so it's going to be what it is now, unless it able to dry itself out in the bottle since I carb'd in my first floor closet. Fortunately no bottle bombs. I may have to invest in a seed mat like you suggested for my next go round on the saison. I think my next beer will be my single hop pale with Galaxy

Ahh. Well, it will dry out in the bottle, too. I'm sure there is a good amount of yeast suspended in there. Unless you pasteurized it...
Let a few bottles rest for 2/3 months.

sounds about right, I'm roughly 45 minutes from Treehouse and yet to snag any cans or growlers since they released "Ma"

Was back in Aus for a business trip last month. I now change my previous post from coopers pale ale to lord nelson's three sheets:
https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_347116/lord-nelson-three-sheets-pale-ale.jsp;jsessionid=D40E8BF83C1F80331E76527EC8660D9D.ncdlmorasp1302?bmUID=kU9kMJ0

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year

HOLY. FUCK.

They are going to need their own desalination plant....

So I was on a Slap hiatus(life hiatus) due to me and the girl splitting up. It was hard. Had an engagement ring and was waiting until this week coming up when we were away in Maine to pop the question. It was not a nice break up let's say and things are still pretty sour, but anyway I bought and had tons of beer due to it and it's been great. Got lots of work done for the brewery. I have shirts being screen printed an what not and some names are now legally mine which is cool. Got neshaminy creeks the shape of hops to come release tomorrow which I recommend going to if you can. Going to other half for my bday gift to myself and then off to sf. Without a gf I have so much more time for beer, skateboarding, and power tools. It's starting to rule.

I've been trying. Right swiped like 500 girls and only 2 matched me. I'm not a bad looking dude either but damn does that hurt. Okcupid is working though.
