My fav boards of all time were the think tag deck and i had a few adrenaline boards(i think matt reason) that had a real blunt nose but fucking great boards!!!!

YES! how good was adrenaline (rhetorical question)
Fave boards over the years:
Zoo York tag board during EE3 era
Hand me down American Dream Unit deck. So fucking good!
Time Skateboards team deck (Omni wood)
Some blank orange board I had/ was given (again, probably Omni wood)
Black label decks in mid 2000s

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year

Answering rhetorical question... lol

Adrenaline boards fuckin ruled, even with the odd shapes.

Pop was rediculous and the boards never got soggy

I skated two Chima decks in a row. Most of my friends and acquaintances are black; I live in Baltimore. I'd rather judge an individual based on character rather than stupid bullshit.
Like whether or not they ride for Shake Junt?

Order of importance, from most to least:
Shape(size of nose + tail, concave, wheelbase, etc), width, brand, the graphic

This, a name underneath your board which 9 times out of 10 gets scratched off is irrelevant

I don't hate these folks, but I surely can't identify myself with their products, so I'll never purchase them.  :P

Chris Haslam
Bam Margera
Nyjah Huston
Louie Barletta
Danny Way
Andrew Reynolds
Koston
Paul Rodriguez
all of Deathwish
Christian Hosoi
Mike Vallely
Ryan Sheckler
Shaun White Supply Co.
Revive Skateboards
Everyone on Shake Junt
Everyone on Hubba Wheels

My first skateboard was a Shaun White complete. I got what I deserved. Nothing of it lasted. I actually bought it because a skateboarder friend told me it was a good start for a good price. It was bullshit, the kingpins wouldn't stay put and one of the trucks just broke for no real reason. The bearings were useless, but that's par for the course. I quickly gave the wheels away to a kid as soon as I replaced them. If anything, it taught me to know the value of riding proper stuff, as I had to replace part by part on it.

I look for a pretty specific shape when buying boards. I like a fatter nose and tail with the length of the board equalling about 32.5 maybe 33". It's rare to find that shape with someone such as Nyjah's pro model.
Really, the name on the bottom is irrelevant.
I'm not making any sense. Typing slightly hungover makes it difficult to get my point across.

I prefer PS Stix, but definitely stay away from most of the companies that use it. I don't usually buy boards from companies I don't like and I usually like companies based mostly on the riders. I'm glad Quasi uses PS since I have recently broken off a long-term relationship with Joe C.

I have a Hjalte deck in the batter's box so I may switch loyalties to Polar if that board works out.

Usually I like 7" or longer noses and 6.5-6.75" tails. I also like a longer wheel base so the board it over 32". I'm only 5'9" but a longer board makes  a huge difference for me. I also have to ride Thunder because the hangar angle adds a little more wheel base.

Trevor Colden for sure; surprised that hasn't come up yet. Anyone on Deathwish is out. Probably wouldn't buy anyone's board who is in Street League, but I can't think of more than 5 people in there so who knows. I just figure that if they're in Street League, they're not the type of skater I'd be into. I'm sure there's more that I can't think of. I'm pretty hyped on my local shop's board so I'll probably just stick with those for a while.

i heard northern company was pressed in alabama or some shit, need to look it up, i got one and it's pretty baller, instead of the side of the board being rounded off it's squared off, which i found pretty cool.

I wouldn't buy any board that I would be embarrassed to be seen skating. This includes people like Chaz Ortiz, Nyjah, Koston, some things like that. I definitely haven't bought a Girl board in years, but that's simply because if I'm spending $50 on a piece of wood that will not last very long, I might as well get one I'm going to enjoy skating. I'd love to only skate Carroll boards, but, fuck those decks.
