When I started skating I asssumed the tail was the nose because it was bigger. Skated for under a year like that until I went to this metal ramp and this local hero kickflip nosemanualed the flat first try. Instantly flipped it around and never went back. I was never a mongo kook that just never made sense to me. I was surprised to learn there's a handful of pros who skate the board backwards. Decenzo, Matt Berger, a few others. Personally I can't stand big tails, my 3 flips suffer the most. There's 2 tricks I do off the nose.
Anyone on SLAP still rocking the backwards kit? What kind of shapes do you guys like? Personally can't stand squared off noses, and flat no pop wood.
