Quick story: in 98’ my brother in law was in the village and saw Mike D on a low rider bicycle. He asked him to wait while he went to Duane Reed and bought a pad of paper a pen and a camera so he could get a picture of him on his bike and an autograph for his sister. Mike D looks dope in the picture and waited 15 minutes while my brother in law put the whole thing together. Bunch of nice Jewish boys.

watched it 2 days ago, it is good. A lot of it is nostalgic though so I can understand younger people not being into it that much. My 46 year old-ass loved it.

as far as one song, I can't choose. "Check your head" will always be my fave album though. Such a creative breakthrough.

One of my happiest memories from my youth was forcing myself to attend a Beastie Boys concert alone. I got the ticket when they first announced the dates but as the date got closer I realized that none of my friends were into them. 17 year old me didn't want to attend the concert alone but I went anyway and managed to meet some other friends I skated with. Best concert of my life; they were great live but me saying "fuck it" and just going for it make that date very special for me.

Awesome memory right there! Its crazy what an impact good live music can have on someone.

Didn't even realize this song was the Beastie Boys at first, I used to think all their music was in the style of their hit songs (sabotage, brass monkey, fight for your right, etc.) and i was pleasantly surprised by this one.
