Trying to picture the exact trick, you're trying to turn with the step hop trick are you not? Not 'just' put the foot down 34 style then straight dismount (which is easier but still may be tricky timing-wise to learn at first). I figure both of those should work the same except paired up with the typical b/s 180 upper body movement thrown in if you want to go with it but in practice seems easier said than done, the board really seemed prone to flipping the couple times I've tried a similar move before, because ideally you want to keep it flat with your back foot but the usual motion from grind position seems to instantly send the board off axis. So I figure that would be the main thing to learn mastering, probably something about an ideal posture prior to popping out but I have yet to experiment with that in detail.
I'm also trying to picture if you're trying to plant your foot on top of the ledge or dismount out of the 50-50 normally but then pop the 34 off flatground instantly as you land (I'm tempted to assume the former but the second version could work too, think 50-50 to manny except the manny is a 34).
