Haley Isaak and Dan corigan are actually the Mcpoyle twins from its always sunny

Rumor has it they got into skating by bumping into Rodney Mullen outside paddy’s pub

Amazing. Wonder when the women Dan abused are going to come out with their stories.

Can't confirm if this is a fact or not, But I heard Brad Staba mom slept with Ron Allen to get him on America Dream to open the doors to get him on Foundation.

Elissa Steamer defended Jason Jesse despite all his white supremacy / nazi stuff. She is still his homie to this day , and has been one of the more respected people in the industry trying to rehab his image. At the DLX shop in SF Elissa told me that "slap" did not know Jason like she did. I thought she was tripping on that jenkem imo, what an absurd take. Elissa is a legend no doubt , but personally she lame.
Very lame. It’s just people taking up for their friends and not holding them accountable. Furthermore, it’s never up to a white person to absolve another white person of racism.

I remember this rumor, except I believe it was Fun, not American Dream. Supposedly one of the Walnut Creek guys was over at the condo where Brad and his Mom lived and saw Ron casually walk out of her room.

Any 1992 Visalia skate camp alumni here? There was a really attractive young lady from Pacifica who definitely wasn't 18 and was seen looking cozy with two different pros at two separate times who definitely were over 18.

I once drunkenly stole a porno from Wade Speyer's house. The porno took place in this old west town that had fallen under a corrupt sheriff and his goons, and in between scenes of people fucking anyway, all the actors talked about The Snake, who was supposedly on his way to clean up the town and restore order. The Snake finally shows up for the last scene that he shares with two women. He's dressed exactly like Clint Eastwood in the Dollars Trilogy, and upon being disrobed by the women, it becomes clear to both them and the viewer why people call him The Snake. You'll have to watch it 'til the end to find out exactly why (no spoilers!).

Anyway, I only realized the next day that the porno was a rental so Wade probably had to go through the embarrassing and expensive ordeal of paying for its replacement. Sorry about that, Wade. I realize that this isn't exactly dark, and not really obscure, I guess. But it's a fact!

I am the some people. The term professional means you get paid, that’s what the difference is between am and pro. They should get flowed enough to sell product but not get a pay check until they are pro. Maybe some incentives here and there a long the way.

If your not sending a invoice your not going to receive a 1099. And since your not getting paid who are you going to invoice?

so are you arguing that what goes as an am should be called a pro, irrelevant of them having a promodel?
or
that brands should stop paying their am's, making them true amateurs?

I’m just stating the obvious difference between Pro and Am. That’s what separates professional from amateur, or at least that’s what it used to mean.

your only stating a(n arguably outdated) linguistic difference.

the reality today there is loads of am skaters getting paid.

So again, should they not be getting paid, or should they be called professionals?

What it used to mean is irrelevant. The Olympics is supposed to be amateur event. They all get paid. You work you deserve to get paid. end of.

Today I learned: AO faked his picnic table ollie in Pretty Sweet
[close]

fuckin prove it
[close]
i don't get it either. the still in the story didn't prove anything for me just that he could have been more to the right of the table than middle . and his shadow stayed under the table while he went over it.
[close]

After looking at it more and watching the clip in slo mo, I guess he could’ve gone over it diagonally. Pop over the bench part cuz it’s lower. That approach kinda lessens it for me. You can hear his tail slap the end, which definitely lessens it even more. Shouldn’t have made the cut, but oh well, done been one up’d anyhow.
[close]

they ran the sequence as a girl ad way back and it looked sick as fuck, who gives a shit if he clipped
[close]

What I took from the still frame posted was that as his wheels were behind the side of the table at the start that he didnt actually go over it, he just did a big ollie on flat next to the table. Is this the same conclusion others reached?
believe it or not, that would be harder. it's physically impossibel for the human body to do it's highest ollie with no structure to go over so it's possible he veered a bit but i don't think he could be completely next to it and still summons the pop to go over. i tend to drift towards the toe side of big obstacles myself.

So, Elissa didn't actually do that condom thing. But that won't stop everyone from endlessly repeating that rumor. Similar to the Danny Way thing.
