in the moment, i sometimes don't appreciate how big some of the things he skates are because he makes it looks so easy, always glad to see the raw footage

isn't he one of those crazy loose truck skaters? like you can't even really tell by watching him that he skates extra loose trucks because he's just so in control

Love watching this dude skate.
He seems like he’d ooze style no matter what he’s doing…

When doing huge tricks the hardest bit is the repeated bailing- being enough in control that you don’t shatter into pieces when things go wrong

Anyone can flail a few good tricks- but it takes something special to have consistently skated big stuff the way Ishod has over so many years

And he can do it all - rails, mannys, backyard pools, tech block tricks- on non-formulaic quirky spots- and make it look so good

Absolutely one of the best to ever do it

I wish I lived near this guy. This is the type of skate pard I need.

Just spend a summer helping style reach its utmost with YEAHS and old man advice.

I mean what can you even say about this. God-level skills and style.

The front shuvs on flat at around 9.40 were priceless.

I could notice how loose his trucks are, especially in this footage. Some of the carves out of tricks and some of the pushes where you can see the board wobble a little bit. Smooth operator.

That casual pole wallie and gap fs flip made me think how I'm glad I don't have his skill, or else I wouldn't be able to leave my board

The catch on that fs flip was absolutely glorious.

Never thought I'd see Ishod skate a backyard pool, limited tricks but show me another former SOTY who could so that as casually.

Anyone can huck but to be able to avoid 90% of the punishment with otherworldly board / body control when shit goes south is what makes Ishod next level.

I honestly wonder if he ever has off days.

You could put Ishod up against any of the goats in their prime and he’d be able to hold his own. He’s my generation’s Koston or Gonz.
