i get why people hate on these kids but damn this was good
-
Thought this was gonna be a full part from Aidan Mackey but I'm not disappointed, it seems like these kids get significantly better every time they release a clip. Say what you will about Sean Pablo but that kickflip was undeniable.
-
Burzum was unexpected. It worked pretty well. Needed more Aidan Mackey.
-
the ollie Kevin Bradley did on the lenny kirk ride on rail it fucking insane.

-
Nakel's style gets better with every clip he puts out. That front shuv was faaaaat.
-
that dill trick was gold
-
I didn't really expect much, but that was the best thing they've released since Cherry. Kevin's ledge-to-ledge ollie was just as hairy as I anticipated. Say what you will about this group, but they skate a ton and seem to be progressing at a high rate.
Also: I know they're far from the only group this applies to, but it's really refreshing to see a skate video with no energy drink logos.
-
Kevin Bradley ollie was insane.
Does this mean we're getting close to a CK1 shoe?

hello kevin bradley i love you, come on join the joyride.
i went to philly in 01 w/ my ex and we were both vegetarians. went to some farmer's market type hall and ordered 'veggie cheesesteaks' and all it was were a couple of cheese sandwiches on nice bread. that ollie reminded me of cheese grinders masquerading as philly cheesesteak. 4 wheels did the sw cheesesteak on there, that kid bucked at us w/ the ollie, 4 wheels can buck back w/ the swollie. i hope cause i don't think i or the rest of slap has a chance at it. bonkers!
lennie kirk's PO said he could get out today if he tried that ollie and he said 'nah, i'll just do another 6 yrs and get out w/ a squashed number'.
-
Nakel and Kevin

I like Strobeck's LA footage...I feel like he brings about that LA grimeyness, that for the most part Cali footage is usually all pristine looking. The first line was a tre flip in the middle of the street to a shifty flip on some random bump over a garbage bin. He includes a lot of the surroundings and people or whatever to show the actual streets. LA has a shit ton of trash, graffiti, dirty streets, bums, crazy people all over the place...in addition to having nice shit too. Sick edit.
-
I am surprised FA hasn't turned any of these guys pro. Would think their boards would sell well considering.
-
Sick little clip. Fucking AVE's line :o

Wait for the Vans video.
The whole thing was really good.
Even the close ups of painted nails and hand tats.
-
Wow that was a treat! Some of those kids are pretty whatever, but these videos always have something great that most just don't have. I guess it's just the general vibe of the group that is just exciting. Kinda like Baker used to be.
Is there a slight bump before the back tail rail, or is it up hill or something? Also the way he landed that trick looked like his knee was just gonna fold sideways

so good. also I love how every diff new supreme clip has a diff guy skatjng slightly better then the others. in cherry it was nakel, tyshaun in joyride and kevin Bradley in this one. also funny to imagine kevin Bradley still on cliche or almost or whatver

I thought it was a great clip. Nakel is on a whole other level and Bradley had some great stuff. I also think that if Sean Pablo, tyshawn and the ginger were from Arizona with the exact same styles and skill level no one would give two shits about them.

That was rad, but what the fuck is up with the nail polish and hideous man ring? Also the landing on that ollie over to front blunt gets me hyped. That trick, AOs kickflip front 50, and Nakels front shove stood out.

Kevins ollie was insane. So much could've gone wrong.
I feel like Pablo is gonna be one of those dudes who people want to hate on so bad, but eventually his skating is gonna get so good that you just can't hate anymore.
I remember when Luans style was getting hated on really hard for a while, but eventually he got so damn otherworldly good that people just couldn't hate on his skating anymore, he got too insane.
(also, I am in no way comparing Sean's skating to something as insanely good as Luans skating, just using how Luan used to get hated on as an example).
-
i think it'll have more to do with the fact that he is a bright kid and is very unapologetic than his skating i mean they obv grasp a slow mo zoom on nail polish will trip ppl out but at some point u become the out of touch loser still crying about it

sean pablo's skating isnt evolving at all. which is fine because people can concentrate on his personality. he's like the braydon szafranski of their crew. he doesn't have to be good at skating to be popular.

THIS!
I always thought of Sean Pablo as the Matt Allen of the Supreme generation. A skater who has a niche in the industry as long as his style of skating (and clothing) is popular, but who will probably fade away as soon as "the market" changes again. Just like Matt Allen didn't have a place in the skateboard industry when people didn't focus on handrail stunts anymore. However, the comparison to Braydon makes more sense, because they're popular for their fashion in the first and their skating in the second place. That being said, the skating in this clip was the best I've seen from Sean Pablo. I was surprised to see him flip his board... twice!
Kevin Bradley is seriously the most talented out of the whole bunch. He was already really good before Cherry and had one of the best parts in "Bon Voyage." Nakel is really good as well. 7

I've been listening to Burzem since before I was born.

the problem with using the term "good at skating" is that some of you understand it narrowly to mean just "technically advanced" on an athletic level. the reality of quality skating though is much more nuanced. skating is a hybrid activity in which criteria for judgement falls somewhere on a spectrum between athlete and artist (like the difference between a football player and ballet dancer). you can't just consider one pole or the other, the entire spectrum needs to be looked at. if duchamp/modernism/post-modernism has taught us anything about aesthetics it's that raw technical ability is a necessary but not sufficient criterion for judgement. an artist like andy warhol (or even picasso for that matter) had a modicum of technical ability but it was his conceptual and aesthetic choices/moves/gestures in the game that made him stand out. i think the situation with sp needs to be looked at similarly. he can skate pretty well on a technical level but that's not only what it's all about. it's his style and aesthetic choices that make him pop (for some people anyway). those of you blind to the larger ideas of aesthetic seduction (judging him on athletic virtuosity alone) are missing out on a much richer conception of what skating can be... (imho)

u might be trolling but theres a lot of people on here that actually believe that sort of thing. the truth is you probably define "good at skating" a lot more narrowly than me. you have a very small concept of what good skating is and if its outside that you trash it. my opinion on him has nothing to do with technical ability, evolving for him isn't doing a switch flip backtail down a rail. try again next time doofus.

Sean Pablo in cherry/ic2 skated as if he was in a constant state of having to take a mean shit, now he doesn't. If y'all can't see that kind of improvement you probably already have it made up in your mind to dislike him no matter what (which is fine because he is all about his image) but don't be dishonest about it.

so you're saying we should all move on [your coast] and swap some good ol' timeless style and get into driving 2+ hrs to skate a "unique" spot shake junt volume 4 black box long hair tight pants fat gap long/kinked rails 50s blah blah blah? west coast's kewl n' all (its true to some degree) but i'll stick with what i got thank you.
lol fool i live on the east i was saying east coast tumblr skating is all the rage/fashionable now and a lot of the dudes are pretty mediocre so its kinda pointless to single out sean in this context/ compare him to braydon szafranski wasnt meant as a diss i fuck with those dudes i luv andrew wilson and josh wilson etc

You live on the East Coast and you say these fools are mediocre? Nakel, Tyshawn and Kevin have all done ridiculous tricks into the Courthouse banks and you call them mediocre?
-
lol no pablo was being singled out as the mediocre one of the crew who doesnt deserve a spot in these clips and i was insinuating that applies to tons of skating particularly east coast rob harris tumblr skating which is popular but is pretty mediocre and actually gave andrew wilson and josh wilson as random examples didnt mention anything about nakel tyshawn or Kevin like dallas todd is down with the homies and pulls mad trim but sucks dick at skating its nothing new

I'm extremely impressed by how difficult this is to read.

I watched this again today before skating, and tried going for the caveman wallride that pablo does. It's fucking hard to do a proper one.

this shit never gets boring.

Everyone in my area tries to ignore how great this clip was. I smile.

That was hella good.
I hope Stroebeck never start a brand if Supreme fall off into the abyss of capitalism (it starting to begin to).
He'll keep it street and drink piss, let's hope.

Must be nice for Dill and Ave. As long as Strobeck keeps putting out these clips for Supreme, FA doesn't need to spend money on filming a video. Everyone in this clip rides for FA except Olson.

Point your board up whether your trying frontside or backside, then it will naturally just ride down with you on it. Personally i found it easier doing frontside. My friends and i now challenge each other to see how high we can go.
